Dr Ron Daniels BEM – Founder & Chief Executive, UK Sepsis Trust
Dr Ron Daniels BEM is an NHS Consultant in Critical Care and Founder & Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust. An internationally recognised leader in sepsis, he led the task force behind the World Health Organization’s 2017 Resolution on Sepsis, created the globally adopted Sepsis Six care pathway, and has helped shape national policy and NHS initiatives that have significantly reduced sepsis mortality across England.
Angela Irvine – Regional Sales Director, Howden Insurance | iCAN Birmingham Lead
Angela Irvine is Regional Sales Director for Howden in the Midlands and iCAN Birmingham Lead, with more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Alongside her career in insurance, Angela is a sepsis survivor, having been hospitalised with severe sepsis in 2017. Since then, she has become a passionate advocate for raising awareness of the condition, sharing her personal experience to help educate others and support the work of the UK Sepsis Trust.
