Link & iCAN - 20 Years of Black Pride in Partnership with Brit Insurance

Join us for a powerful evening of storytelling, celebration, and community as we mark two decades of Black Pride in the UK alongside Link and Brit Insurance - a landmark moment for visibility, representation, and joy in the Black LGBTQ+ community.

Taking place at the Queer Britain Museum, the UK’s first dedicated LGBTQ+ museum, this event is a unique opportunity to connect with the stories, people, and progress that have shaped the Black Pride movement since its inception.

As part of this special evening, attendees will:

✔️ Explore the “20 Years of Black Pride” exhibition – honouring the activists, creatives, and community leaders who have shaped the movement

✔️ Hear from the exhibition’s curator, offering exclusive insight into the cultural significance and personal stories behind the archive

✔️ Celebrate Black LGBTQ+ history and heritage, while recognising the challenges that remain and the change still needed

✔️ Network with professionals from across the insurance industry who are committed to inclusion and intersectional allyship

✔️ Enjoy refreshments and drinks in a relaxed, welcoming environment

This celebration is more than just an evening at the museum, it’s a moment to come together, reflect, and uplift Black LGBTQ+ voices within and beyond our industry.

Whether you identify with the community or stand as an ally, this is a space for recognition, reconnection, and recommitment to progress.

Accessibility & Inclusivity:

This event aims to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. If you have any accessibility needs, please indicate these during registration so we can do our best to accommodate.

We’re proud to be celebrating this milestone alongside our community partners and sponsors. We look forward to seeing you there.
