This event is open to those working in the insurance industry within New York!
iCAN is an independent network that supports the careers and progression of people of colour and international employees in the insurance sector. We’ve been running for eight years, now with over 11,000 members and five Chapters/Hubs in the UK – London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol – and recently launched our first international hub in New York. We’re supported by over 60 corporate firms, including Aon as a key sponsor.
We host events, offer recruitment support, mentoring solutions, and provide consultancy for Employee Resource Groups and Business Resource Groups – and we’re developing these services in the US through new partnerships and collaborations.
This event, in partnership with NAAIA NY Tri-State and Aon, is your chance to network with fellow insurance professionals in a relaxed and vibrant setting at Aon’s offices in the Financial District – with drinks and snacks provided.
It’s also a great way to gear up for our iCAN Role Models Event happening later that week in New York.

Who is the NAAIA New York Tri-State Chapter?
The National African American Insurance Association New York Tri-State Chapter is a 501c6 non for-profit organization that brings together insurance professionals, allowing them to work towards achieving their professional and community objectives. Since its inception in 2004, the New York chapter of NAAIA has been promoting the industry through various educational, civic, and social activities, exclusively designed for insurance professionals in the NYC and surrounding areas. The organization’s membership is diverse, covering executives, agents, brokers, attorneys, underwriters, and other industry professionals.
