Premium Credit confirmed as iCAN Bronze Sponsor for 2024

iCAN is proud to announce that Premium Credit are renewing their sponsorship for 2024 at our Bronze level.

This sponsorship is a testament to Premium Credit’s commitment to supporting ethnic minorities and international talents and contributing to the UK insurance industry becoming more ethnically diverse.

iCAN and Premium Credit’s partnership will promote Premium Credit’s culture, roles, and DEI initiatives in 2024. We are excited to be working with Sarah Evans along with the Premium Credit team!

More about Premium Credit

Whether it's for personal or business use, insurance is essential for most of us. Since 1988, Premium Credit has helped millions of businesses and individuals pay for their insurance by spreading the costs over regular instalments, instead of paying the whole premium upfront.

They also provide the finance to pay annual costs such as professional fees, membership subscriptions, commercial service charges and school fees.

Today, they have over 2.1 million customers using their service and technology to process 24 million Direct Debits and fund advances of £3.8 billion. That's why they're the number one insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland.

Headquartered in Leatherhead and Dublin they employ over 350 colleagues, including field-based employees providing local coverage across the whole of the UK and Ireland.

The sponsorship

Premium Credit’s sponsorship will support a wide range of iCAN’s ongoing and newly launched initiatives for 2024. The initiatives include our INspire self-serving mentoring platform and iCANConnect, a safe space for D&I leaders across the insurance industry, as well as our iCANApply Jobs Board which aims to give more access for our members to opportunities within the insurance industry.

In addition to these three main initiatives, the sponsorship will support the continuation of the Coffee with the CEO series and a range of virtual and in-person events for the 5,000+ members based in the UK and internationally.

Sarah Evans, Head of HR and Sponsor of EF&I at Premium Credit said:

“This is an important step in Premium Credit’s Sustainability journey helping us to successfully promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. iCAN and their platform are supporting our progression in this critical area through a range of support services including mentoring programmes, learning resources and the opportunity to network with others who are also working effectively in this space.

“Sustainability is central to our corporate strategy and culture, and this partnership with iCAN will provide additional momentum to the work already delivered by the business and the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Council last year. We are delighted to be an iCAN sponsor.”
