iCAN Welcome SenseRisk on our Bronze Sponsorship in 2025
iCAN is proud to announce that SenseRisk has confirmed sponsorship at our Bronze level.
The partnership will support iCAN’s mission to address the challenges facing ethnic minorities working in the insurance industry. SenseRisk’s sponsorship will also support iCAN’s initiatives designed to help ethnic minorities progress into senior roles, and to attract a diverse talent pool to the insurance sector.
We are delighted to welcome SenseRisk to our expanding network of partners that are committed to enhancing multicultural inclusion and diverse leadership within organisations in the UK insurance industry..
More about SenseRisk
SenseRisk is an independent, family-run community insurance broker led by Emily Kenna, who founded the business in 2019 after facing a lack of workplace flexibility when seeking support for her autistic son. Determined to build something better, Emily established Sense Risk with a clear mission: to challenge the status quo, support business owners with expert advice, and create a culture that promotes mental health, diversity, and inclusion for staff and clients alike.
Today, SenseRisk has grown to a dedicated team of five and remains committed to its values of professionalism, collaboration, and trust. Their work centres around helping SME clients understand and manage their risks, offering advice grounded in 18 years of experience and a people-focused mindset.
The sponsorship
SenseRisk’s sponsorship will support a wide range of iCAN’s ongoing and newly-launched initiatives. These include: INspire self-serving mentoring platform, a service that matches the best mentors based on mentee needs, iCANConnect, a safe space for D&I leaders across the insurance industry, and iCAN Apply Jobs Board, which aims to provide our members with more opportunities within the sector.
In addition to these three main initiatives, the sponsorship will support the continuation of the ‘Coffee with the CEO’ series and a range of virtual and in-person events for the 8,000+ members based in the UK and internationally.
Emily Kenna, shared:
“We at SenseRisk support iCAN as it sets out to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion within the insurance industry.
By doing so, they help create a more innovative and representative workforce.”
