iCAN are delighted to welcome Kennedys Law as a Gold Sponsor for 2024

iCAN is proud to announce that Kennedys Law are joining in 2024 at our Gold level.

This sponsorship is a testament to Kennedys Law’s commitment to supporting ethnic minorities and international talents and contributing to the UK insurance industry becoming more ethnically diverse.

iCAN and Kennedy’s Law’s partnership will aim at promoting Kennedys Law’s culture, roles, and DEI initiatives in 2024 and we are excited to be working with Marianne Blattès along with the Kennedys Law team!

More about Kennedys Law

Our lawyers handle both contentious and non-contentious matters, and provide a range of specialist legal services, for many industry sectors including insurance and reinsurance, aviation, banking and finance, construction and engineering, healthcare, life sciences, marine, public sector, rail, real estate, retail, shipping and international trade, sport and leisure, transport and logistics and travel and tourism. But we have particular expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, especially in defending insurance and liability claims.

We’re here to deliver straightforward advice, even when the issues are complex.

But it’s often our insights and support beyond the law that really make a difference to your business. Our expert knowledge of our chosen industries means we’re the best people to help you navigate challenges, today and tomorrow.

Our clients are global, and so are we. We have the scope, scale and expertise to be there for you, whenever or wherever you need us to do business. We explore issues from different angles and offer you a global perspective, tailored to your local environment. We help you think ahead and we empower you with a diverse range of ideas, tools and technology to make your lives easier.

The sponsorship

Kennedys Law’s sponsorship will support a wide range of iCAN’s ongoing and newly launched initiatives for 2024. The initiatives include our INspire self-serving mentoring platform and iCANConnect, a safe space for D&I leaders across the insurance industry, as well as our iCAN Apply Jobs Board which aims to give more access for our members to opportunities within the insurance industry.

In addition to these three main initiatives, the sponsorship will support the continuation of the Coffee with the CEO series and a range of virtual and in-person events for the 5,000+ members based in the UK and internationally.

Marianne Blattès, Global Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager said:

“We are proud to support iCAN and look forward to working together to drive greater multicultural inclusion and representation in the insurance sector. We believe that iCAN’s wide range of initiatives will not only support our internal networks and existing champions but help us promote multicultural awareness at Kennedys.”
